Chief Assistant Professor Elisaveta Tsvetkova is a member at the Department of Library Management of the State University of Library Studies and Information Technologies, Sofia. Master of Library and Information Sciences, Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, she has PhD in Library Studies and Bibliography in the Professional Field 3.5 "Social Communications and Information Sciences".
Her research interests are related to digital libraries, mobile digital libraries, ICT in education, mobile learning, library and information sciences, copyright.
She is the author of one scientific study “Libraries Today and Tomorrow. The Contemporary Library as a Reautomated System Project” (2018) and more than 35 scientific articles presented at conferences in Bulgaria as well as abroad and published in specialised editions.
Since 2015 she has been part of the research teams of several ULSIT projects as well as the "Copyright Policy of Library and Cultural Institutions" project with international participation. In 2018 she managed a project funded by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Education and Science – “Library and Information Management: 10 years of achievement and challenges”.
In September 2013 she took part in the Erasmus Intensive Program "Library and Information and Cultural Management - Academic Summer School " (IP-BIKM ALU) hosted by the Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. In 2014 she was involved in the 2nd Erasmus Staff Mobility Week for Libraries hosted by the University of Patras, Greece.
Library professional with over 15 years of experience as librarian and chief librarian in the Library and Information Center of the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy, Sofia.
Member of the Bulgarian Library and Information Association.
